Thanked: 12Wade & Butcher French tip
Just finished a wade and butcher with some Cambodian rosewood scales and a yellow cedar wedge. blade is a 6/8 quarter hollow ground. My poor photo skills dont show all the lovely curves in the scales that flow with the spine of the blade. at some point I need to get a new camera instead of my phone!

It's a beautiful thing when old razors go back on the line.
Thank you for sharing.

Very nice. How does it shave?
Any day on this side of the flowers is a good day!

Thanked: 170Interesting scales - I've never seen a set that completely hid the tang. Well done.

Thanked: 12Thanks much for the comments gents. I try to be creative when making scales. I am rather new to wood working so it is a bit of a challenge. I guess I could have given some before pic's.... The scales were snapped at one end.
