    Default Quick Torrey rescale

    A new rescale.
I decided to do a bit of work recently and the Torrey, of good, if bumpy, steel and no pants, was a good candidate. A chip on the toe required a bit of rework and the scales were fun! Acrylic and a new pewter wedge. The wedge was more work than the scales! Pinning is ss washers and brass pins.

By the way when you have lazer scales cut...get a physical sample of the colored material before ordering a bunch of them!...Duh! Monitors do not tell the tale! The amber here was supposed to be a yellow and looked to be then from the supplier, not now!

PS, not my best work but a quick renewal for the use of a good blade.

She looks great, love the wedge.
A great old blade goes back on the line.
    Thank you for sharing it.

Agreed. I like that hue. It looks "old school" for some reason. Probably just me.

I have to agree with the majority. Though an unintended fluke the scales seem to be just right IMHO. Nice work Richard.
