W&B
Got a chance to chip away at my collection of W&Bs. I think I'm down to having 5 or 6 left to do. For some reason I'm keeping them looking as much as they did when they left the factory and using original parts where I can. In this case I kept the original scales as well as the wedge. I duplicated the very small washers found on this piece as well.

Yes, you have to have at least one. For some reason I have a soft spot for them. I have around 25 or so.

Just as when you take a plain piece of wood and turn it into a beautiful carving, you consistently do the same for a blade that at one point in time was held dear by the owner as precious and who had no idea that it would be neglected and be in need of being brought back to life!
Nice work!

Thanked: 3225Yea sir another nicely done restore. Funny I have never noticed small washers on a W&B that old. Have to keep my eyes open and be more attentive. I do like the idea of keeping them as original as possible too.

Looks awesome. It's cool that you tried to keep the factory original look as much as you can. I will own one of these someday.
There is always a solution, whether it's already present or if you have to make it.
