Thread: Quasimodo checks into Heartbreak Hotel

This razor is mine. It is a practice razor for one that I'm grinding for TB in Arkansas. It is a 10/8 hunch back with a primitive finish to the steel and buffalo horn scales. I was supposed to be a full hollow straight edge but after 3 bad grinding errors and three pretty decent saves, it turned into a smaller 1/8 grind smiler. I was still pretty happy becuse I was going to get still a pretty nice razor, even if not what i had intended. So after making the scales and just about done with setting the bevel on a 220 stone I noticed a hairline crack right in the middle of the edge. At this point I might say that a younger man with better eyes would have noticed this eariler.....So.............

Man is that what my razor is going to look like wow I'm freaking excited as well to get that wonderful thing

I know it sux, but it does encourage some us with far less experience to know it still happens to the Masters as well sometimes.

And I got pissed when I broke a scale today .... now I don't feel so bad. I'm sure your next endeavor will be amazing.
