13/16 custom in Honey horn, Solingen style
Here is my latest work, a 13/16 straight in honey horn. I don't have too much time lately because of my exams, but I try to work a bit every day when I have a bit of time to spare
The steel is O1 at about 61-62HRC, it honed up really well, and shaves like a champ! The whole blade is mirror finished, it was very hard to make some pics without reflection. Scales are from honey colored horn, this was the first time I worked with it, but I liked it a lot. Sands easily, polishes well, and the color and translucency is very cool in personal. Pins are nickel-silver with SS washers, the wedge is made from bone. Here are the pics, please let me know how you like or dislike it!

Thanked: 3227Not much for me to dislike being a person of conservative tastes in razors. I would have that in my rotation and about the only thing I would have liked to have seen are jimps. Very good take on the classic look.

I like it.
It reminds me a little of the soviet made razors.
