Thanked: 16First Custom scales in horn: Schoffield and S. Revitt
Here are my first two attempts at using horn. I love the Schoffield since it has an unusual shape as well as the S. Revitt. The Revitt came with some really thin bone scales in nasty shape that I didn't think I could clean up. The tang just says S. Revitt and Sheffield in cursive script, There is some significant pitting near the toe, but I loved the lines of the razor too much to let it go. It honed up nicely and shaves well.

Nice work! They're both beautifully shaped blades.

Thanked: 16I've decided to look for cool shapes and grinds instead of chasing after the big choppers. I just can't afford those!
