Last but one 7/8 Classic round point custom
I had two classic looking razor blanks left out of my second HT package to finish, this is one of them. I am happy that I started my razor making journey with a few full customs and a few very classic looking razors, because I have learned a lot while making them. Sizes, proportions, thicknesses, balance, everything you could think of. This one is from O-1, 7/8 in size, scales are brazilian rosewood, wedge is african blackwood, and the pins are double stacked SS washer with silver-nickel pins.
This is the second time I worked with brazilian rosewood, but I am very pleased with it. Very dense and hard wood, but it sands really easily, and polished well. I would recommend this wood to anyone who wants to makes his first restore/rescale/custom, because it is really nice looking, and is relatively cheap.
I am almost sure this is my last razor before Christmas, but stay tuned, I am in the midst of finishing two very nice razors, which I hope you will like a lot!
Here are the pics, please let me know how you like it!

Another beautiful straight razor jeness. If you ever decide you do not like practicing medicine your alternate career awaits you! Take care.

Very nice blade and I really like what you've done with the heel and width of the blade, should last for a couple of centuries of actually shaving and honing regularly. Well done, Sir!
