    Default CCC in spalted maple

I finished this up just in time to sell it to my buddy's wife, for him, as a Christmas gift. Turned out very nice with the epoxy resin finish. It has an Ebony wedge and nickel silver pins, SS washers. I honed it up and had enough time to give it a test run on the old face, and it was a really nice shave. should be a good razor for my friend. I didn't even have time to take pics before I had to rush out and meet with her for the sale, as you can tell by the pics. Check it out.

Really sweet, love the grain pattern on the scales. Nice job!

Very nice! I have been looking at spalted woods myself and this is a nice example of why..how thick are the scales? Did you use liners as well?

I always go no more then an 1/8", no less then a 1/6". No liners or backing on this one. I find the best place to find spalted wood, is in firewood piles.

The funny thing is, is that there was already a bit of a debate on this. Nothing was ever confirmed. Here's the original post back when I first acquired the razor, and the debate.
