CVH + scales
A CVH clean up and new scales where the shape matches the shape of the blade tip. It was a little rusty but cleaned up well. Interestingly the word Sweden was double stamped which I couldn't see when it came in.

Very nice, that was a good save, considering the rust...and the scale material is nice. Happy New Year!

How you always manage to turn a rusted bucket into a golden pale is still beyond me. Beautiful work on the restoration of the blade and the design of the scales. Did you make the acrylic for the scales? If not acrylic, what are the scales made from?

These scales are transparent honey horn. Though I could copy them in acrylic.

Great work! Gave second life to the blade. This swedish rasor must be a good shaver? Yeah?

It's hard to believe that the blade face cleaned up so well. Would you mind telling what process you use i.e. hand sanding, or compounds etc?

Pretty much the standard routine. Sand,,sand,,sand,,then polish. The combination of compounds and types of wheels is endless. It's a matter of finding combinations that work. Experiment. I do it all the time.
