Yes, Burrell married a Case daughter. Last of the Case clan razors! Very good ones! His son is still making knives in partnership with the Indians upstate, I understand. Here are my 2. I have not gotten to them yet, but the one on top is a modern grind wedge!

I rest my case.

Nice articles, thanks guys for the history lesson on these great shavers.
Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.

Thanked: 4249Some publication claims that Burrell Cutlery only produce razors for 2 years, 1941-1942, from some information about the company found in old newspaper their razor business was booming at that point in time.
In 1945 Burrell Cutlery and other companies from that region were pleading for help wanted in their business and Harold Burrell company was still describe as manufacturers of barbers razors.
The "Top Flight" trademark originally filed for straight razor expired in 1986?
Being part of the Case family, these companies made product for everybody and their brother. So i get the feeling they produce razors for more then 2 years. In 1940 Burrell Cutlery was producing under contract work Marines Knifes for Ka-Bar. Burrell, Case, Kinfolks, Robeson and a few more were all in the same family.
