Thanks! I gave it the whole arsenal last nite and shaved this morning. Happy to report it laid waste to a 4 day wire beard with no problem. Nice and close! Interestingly, the color seems to be coming back into the replaced panel since honing and shaving??? Perhaps the handling and oil from my hand? Or maybe lighting difference between the workshop and the shave den?

You need to try different combinations of pattern on the handle. It may happen unexpectedly beautiful result.
