    Default Custom Damas 9/8

    Hi Guys !

    A new straight razor, a 9/8 in Damas, the damas is made by Achim Wirtz (Germany), steel 115W8, O1 and 15N20. This Damas is hard 63/64HRC.
    I made the scales in Black micarta.

    Great blade! At first I though the scales were too... I don't know, ordinary I guess, compared to your previous ones. A bit monotone/sober... But looking at the 5th pictures (front side with your stamp) I realized that it's actually perfect that way, so it won't outshine the blade itself. After all, it's all about the blade isn't it. And this is definitely a beautiful one.

    Really nice! The pattern of the Damascus is very unique, both on the spine/shank and blade. The pattern on the spine and shank remind me of shark skin, but I can't remember the name of the shark. I really like the look of it. Very nice razor!!!

    I like the pattern on the spine and tang..almost looks hammer pounded. Great job as always!
