Cool My first attempt at scales!

This was from our local Virginia meetup today at diyguy/Brian's place.

I made horn scales, and we polished the blade too. It was an old Sheffield I got from here, and wasn't in the greatest condition. I'm super happy with how it turned out, especially for my first time.

Sorry don't know how to photograph razors... How do people balance razors like they do in nice photos??

is no such thing with natural materials being to thin.with Horn, bone, Ivory. they should be thin, no more than .090 IMO.Is nothing worse than seeing great materials made into scales that are 1/8th. in. thick,You see it all the time.is hidious.
