Thanked: 1072Bengall in White Mist acrylic
This Full Concave Bengall wasn't in great shape when it arrived, a fair amount of rust and busted scales.
The blade etch was very shallow, but I really didn't want to loose it. So I sanded around it, and the sandpaper didn't touch the etch till 1200 grit.
I found the acrylic at work. Dont know what its really called, It just reminds me of a white mist so I went with it. I really like the look of it.
The wedge is Corian, Nickel-Silver pins on S/Steel washers.
When it arrived and I realized it was a 5/8 (a little smaller than I usually like) I was planning to clean it up and stick it on ebay, but now that its done, I think I'm going to have to hang on to it for a while.
I just honed it too and it looks like took a sweet edge. Unfortunately I've already shaved tonight so the test shave will have to wait.
Thanks

Wow Grant!!
I can see why you would want to hang onto that little beauty for a while.
I really love seeing all the work you do. You always seem to make me jealous of your abilities and inspire me to keep on pushing with my own forays into restoring razors. That Bengall looks FANTASTIC!!!
I really love that acrylic and how it compliments the wedge.
