Aloha Richard and welcome to SRP! I was just checking out your web site, very nice. What a beautiful razor you have made your Damascus reminds me of a topo. map. Is this your first straight razor?

Ed , thank you. I have made about 10 or so. I really enjoy making them. Im doing a few now with stainless and 1080 core San Mai. They should look cool. I have done some fixed blades in it and they came out great. Richard

I really like the combo of the razor material and the wood scales. I made a Brush handle from the same material, what a nice wood!

WOW !!...The blending of the Afzelia Burl and the San Mai is terrific.
    They seem to merge together.
Did you dye the wood ? I've only seen Afzelia Burl as a 'yellowish' colour.
