Picked up this $3.00 blade that I though held promise. Broke it down, had to remove the script since the rust was rather deep, gave it a brushed finish but polished the spine, shaft and the scales.
Put it in the rotation and I'm a happy camper.

Great job, it is hard for me to believe those are the same scales in the before and after photos.

It's not hard for you to believe it because I neglected to mention I swapped scales. The ones in the before photos came up OK,,, but I liked the look of theses from another razor.
Sorry about that. Didn't want to mislead anyone.
I'll use the old ones on another razor.
