    Default Torrey " Army"

This one is for a guy who's sons are in the military. No before shots but typical patina, some rust spots and dull scratched scales. Keeping the etch was a challenge but it worked out fine.
Broke it down, polished it up and it's ready for another tour of duty.Kept it original.

Celluloid! I have a nearly matching set on one of mine as well as this same pattern of bolstered scales in a wood grain pattern and about 10 or so In french Ivory.
I just don't see many in this greenish cracked ice pattern.

I've got a set of celluloid with those same bolsters, but not anywhere near as good looking as those are! I love that color.

    very nice, love the scales.
Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.

Here are a just a few of mine in this style. The green one is in there along with the wood colored and a multitude of the more common white. Though it's hard to see , almost each of the bolsters is slightly different.

The one that I have is a mottled yellow with translucent. Not bad looking, but not in great shape really.

Sounds interesting. I'd love to see a pic. Can it be restored?
