Quite alright. I didn't even notice that I'd been auto corrected!

    Excellent work Glen, as usual!

Very Nice indeed Glen. I can't pick a favorite I like em all. Even the edible one.

Man I love the look of amboyna burls, and the DD is just wicked cool Glen!
Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.

I'm in the same pickle....I can't pick a favorite. But, that bumble bee is, for some reason, mesmerizing to me. The others are just elegant, especially the spalted pecan. Guess I'm a DD Bumble Bee'er. Nice work!!!

This was the interesting one for me too, first time I had used this wood for scales, I have made quite a few sets of Pistol and Revolver grips from it..
I went standard with the finish, sanded too 220 dry, then used a Wash coat of 50/50 Tung Oil and Mineral Spirits appplied with 400 grit Wet-r-Dry..
Let that dry for 12 hours, then roughed with synthetic 3M steel wool, Applied 5 coats of Tung Oil roughing between each coat 8 hours between each.. Finally smoothed with x-tra fine synthetic steel wool and finally 3 coats of Ren wax to finish...
I really liked the outcome myself..

The Burls had CA finish over Polyurethane Vacuum Chamber treated blanks, the Chittum although beautiful to look at was a true PITA to get right

I also thank you for the technical info on the finishing!

Bravo Glen damn fine work on all of the razors! You said the Chittum was a PITA, how difficult was it to place the Satinedge inlay/bolster in the G-10 scales? With these 5 master pieces completed my baby's are closer to the bench!!! I like the soft satin finish you leave on the blades.
    Aloha,

    The spalted pecan is fabulous!

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.
