American knife with new horn scales reproduction of the original
This razor I had a lot of pleasure to make. I decided to create an exact reproduction of the old horn scales which were very damaged. For pining, I used old school domed washers taken on other razors. I am pretty happy with the end results. Only honing left to do. Can't wait to try it. I love the very old look of it.
I wonder how old is this razor, maybe around the 1860's. I have never seen that brand before. Anyone has any info on it by any chance?

Thanked: 3225This is the second example I have seen of your handiwork today. Pretty impressive I would say. Hope it shaves as well as it looks.

Well done! A fine piece of American cutlery history, respectfully accomplished.
