    Default 7/8" Kropp in Ebony

Having seen a recent post by Mikael (on the UK Shaving Room Site) and admiring the scales, I cleaned up this Kropp and made something similar. The scales are Ebony with a finishing Oil - the same as used on shave brushes - so it's fine for use with razors and buffs up nicely.
These Kropps are great razors and take a fantastic edge - this feels as if it's no exception but I havn't shaved with it yet.

I'm honered Rob, well done indeed! ... actually your scales looks better than mine (I didn't make them), much nicer "flow" in your curves, I think.

when i first looked at the images i thought the scales were a little extreme to my likes .. then i looked at them again and how they flowed with the tang/tail ... and really started to like the look .. very good job on them , very impressive work !!

I'm usually not a big fan of "eccentric" scales but I really love this design. They really look nice.

    Good work!

Great job on the scales Rob.
I am currently making a small batch of razors and scales with nice sweeping lines like that would suit the sweeps on the razors well.
May have to pinch this design !

Be my guest - I took the idea from one of Mikael's razors anyway.
