I dream of having a razor like this to restore. The masonic etchings look very nice. It would have been hearthbreaking if the scratches had been deeper and you would have to remove them when polishing.

Thank you . This razor at least had some open areas which made it a bit easier.
The piece in this photo was a bit of a bugger.

I have few masonic razors but they are not that beautiful. Yours look like new, just from the factory. Great work, a piece of art.

A fantastic save there - I can only assume that in order to remove the scratches you had to also remove part of the etching as well. What do you use to do this - if that's not a trade secret?
