Thanked: 13246Oooooo Pretty !!!!
Hehehe those are the exact words that the Wifey came up with !!!
These are heading home to my friend Alan, they were on the bench last week
Some new materials here, that I got to mess with
Some New stuff:
Faux Ivory Acrylic, Probably the best I have seen to date, the rendition of the Shreger Lines are very faint and subtle, much more like real Ivory, not over done like many others..
Western Tortiose Acrylic, Much closer to the Vintage Celluloid, and perhaps even closer to the real tortiose patterning, then the old celluliod, very happy with this stuff..
Lime Green Sherbet G-10, What more to say it is G-10
And some "Not New" materials
Goncolo Alves, Done with a Tung Oil finish
Streaked Honey Horn,
Orange n Black G-10
Thanks for looking, and many thanks to Alan for always letting me run wild with the choices of Materials

Thanked: 1263Nice work Glen. That Ivory and Tortoise looks pretty cool and you're right it does look more like the vintage stuff.

They all look fantastic, but I can't get over that Goncolo Alves. I really like the look of it. I recently got some Camelthorn after seeing your other scales made from it. If only I could find a piece of Goncolo Alves that looks like that. Very nice.

Thanked: 3227Got to go along with the faux ivory and tortoise shell acrylics being the best I have seen so far and would be my choice for a rescale in a synthetic. Nice job on all of them as usual.
