    Default off to woodcraft ..

    well i decided im bored and its time for a new suit for one of my Greaves ....did the blade lightly when i got it but now i can clean up the tang a bit , the split finally split and what else do i have to do today ...lol

    ok Bolivian Rosewood it is ... hopefully next pics after these will be finished product !!!

    You going to put a ca finish on it? Glen has a great tut on how to do it somewhere around here. I am going to scale about a dozen razors soon and will be watching how it goes for you.

    probably , i still gotta work them down later and do some other things i want to do before there ready for that ..

    i did a set for that last Packwood i got out of Bocote and used the CA finish last week ... came out pretty good ..
    i dont know where i posted the thread but here is the pic finished of the Bocote

    Nice I like that 2 pin look. I got to get an anvil. I am thinking a Cliff Carol 35 lb. Where did you get your peen ? I bought a Craftsman but had to regrind the darn thing. It looked more like a chisel than a peen.

    look up jewelers hammer on amazon .. i think it was $4-$6 or $8 shipped , i dont remember really but it was cheap ... btw have fun when you do the CA glue thing ...lol.. i had my arm stuck to the bench , fingers to the scales , finger to the glove , ect .. thank goodness it dries fast cause i did use the bathroom between coats ...lol
