    Default Part #2 of off to woodcraft thread ( rescale)

    got around to hitting the belt sander today, making a spacer and drilling pin holes ( not straight again ..lol ) ...
    scales are Bolivian Rosewood and spacer is Antler , still need to hand sand a bit , treat the antler , and then its off to the CA glue table !! i think ill take my time this time and avoid the mess with the glue ...lol... BTW WOW !!! what a difference using micro fasteners is !! no nails falling out and scales sliding all over the place !!! so glad i bought them !!!

    thanks .. that was the first thing i had around to put it on ..lol... i thought about cutting up the lid and making liners for the spacer .. !!! hhhhmmmm i still might

    That would make for a very nice accent with the antler wedge. Do it and if it looks bad take it out.
