Thanked: 101st grind and hone
I bought this in a lot purchas on the bay. I didnt know i had a 1/16 of an inch split an inch from the heel. (Forgot to take before pics) So ground a 1/16 of an inch off the blade and rehoned it. It cuts leg hair like a champ, gonna test shave it tomorrow.
Grinding off part of the blade is a job. I will prob make sure i pay more attention to the razors im buying for now on

I say drop down to one piece of tape. If I am not mistaken, you add more layers of tape to wedge type grinds, hollows only require 1 or none.
edit - not to mention, you took of 1/16th of the blade width without adjusting the thickness of the spine. adding tape is probably just exacerbating (sp?) the slightly out of wack angles you may have.
