    Default 1st grind and hone

I bought this in a lot purchas on the bay. I didnt know i had a 1/16 of an inch split an inch from the heel. (Forgot to take before pics) So ground a 1/16 of an inch off the blade and rehoned it. It cuts leg hair like a champ, gonna test shave it tomorrow.

UPDATE: it shaves like crap The cheeks got a good cut but my neck needs another go with one of my sharp razors[ or since its saturday rock the lazy beard ] I have a question: i had to use two peices of tape to get it as sharp as it is, should i keep trying using two peices or should i move up to three?

I say drop down to one piece of tape. If I am not mistaken, you add more layers of tape to wedge type grinds, hollows only require 1 or none.

edit - not to mention, you took of 1/16th of the blade width without adjusting the thickness of the spine. adding tape is probably just exacerbating (sp?) the slightly out of wack angles you may have.
