    No, there will be a visible bright grind line as it honed, it can stay dark if the user etches it again, otherwise, it will abrade like any Damascus pattern.

    What are the scales and brush handle made. From? They look great.

    On the san mai, the scales are horn. The fat brush, the handle is vintage honey horn, the wood on my first razor is Koa, and the wood handled brush is stabilized spalted maple.

    Beautiful work on all of them.
    Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.

    Great work, as always. The rosette on the bottom of the brush is a neat idea.
