A re-do just for me
Sometimes when I make a razor for someone, my vision and their vision don't exactly meld.
So the other day I had a customer return one that didn't flip his switch, and to tell the truth, it wasn't my cup of tea either. All this is no problem with me as these are my babies coming back home to papa.
I decided to make this more to my own liking so I ground off the barbers notch and made the point a slightly French/square point with the cutting edge about a half inch shorter than before. I then ground the near wedge heavy blade into a very thin full hollow. Then ground the toe end of the spine down to make it a slight humpbackn instead of a swayback. Next I cut off a full inch off the tail so it would fit into my little razor cabinet. Finally, I cut the scales down to match and gave her a nice shine.
To recap now: she's a 7/8 full hollow humpback square toe with zebra bone scales...and she's all mine
As always, Thanks for looking

Did you say Mine??? OH! Mine as in yours! I was drooling!
Cannot see what it was before, but it seems a classic now!
That's Nice!
Tom"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

Now how do you go about getting your hands on Zebra bone? (I was originally going to ask 'where does your Zebra bone come from?' but I just know what answers I would get to that.
Anyway both scales and razor now suit each other.
