This was a very special restore for me, it was one of the very very few that I have been able to deliver in person

DonV sent this Greaves up for a full restore, the Frosted etch was pretty far gone, and we had plenty of steel to work with, so he decided to go for a new finish. I took the razor to a near perfect Satin Glow, replaced the cracked worm eaten scales with new Honey Horn.. Don was hymmhawing on Bone vs Horn at first, so after he decided on the Horn I decided to use a Bone wedge so he ended up with both anyway

I used Bi-metal washers and Brass pins and bearing washers, the Horn was polished using the 3M sheets to 8k then buffed gently.

Honing was done in person at the Yakima Meet on Saturday using Chosera 1-5-10, Select Grade Coticule finish

The best part of the whole process was the smile on Don's face as he opened the box, that is something I wish I got to see more often
