Thanked: 375W&B Hollow ground and celebrated India steel Diamond Edge 7/8"
I sent these out to mycarver aka Mark to have these blades restored. This was a polish, new horn scales, stacked brass washers, brass pin's and honed. I've been sitting on the hollow ground for three years, it had no scales when I found it. The Celebrated India Steel I picked up last year and it was rusty, pitted.
I'm no photographer.........but here they are, before and after, enjoy! I'll try to get better pics with some natural light tomorrow.
I had the pleasure of meeting Mark, after inviting myself to pick up my blades (gotta meet the guy who post all this great work) well, glad I did. Mark, spent a good bit of time going over his honing technique (I inquired about setting bevels), And I had the opportunity to see other work's he has completed, including his main gig, Architectural carving (correct me if I'm wrong Mark) Outstanding stuff!
Okay got some better pics with natural light this morning. The previous pics just did them no justice.

Chris, thank you. It was a pleasure to get to know a fellow board member face to face. I wish we had more time but the pressures of my regular gig which you correctly identify as " Architectural Carving" has been crazy lately in addition to the number of blades hitting my bench.
I'm sure well get together again and I'll have the full force of my collection on display.
Thanks for everything.
Mark
