W & B American Eagle
I've done several of the American Eagle razors but they had the traditional horizontal etch of the Eagle. This I thought was interesting since it's vertical. I was able to clean up the blade nicely. The area under the Eagle was once a Globe and when I received it only two continents remained. It looks blank here but with the correct lighting traces of what once were the Lat. and Long. lines are faintly visible.
I was able to reuse the orig. scales but some of the rust migrated into the scales around the hinge pin where it was corroded.

That is a very unusual American eagle etch, I like it a lot better than the normal ones! Nice restore, looks great.

I can't say for certain. I read that once they started putting the country of origin on a blade it would be after 1900 or so but I can't say for sure.
