Thread: latest restorations

Hi All,
three latest restorations. did the clean up a few weeks ago, but just honed them after family holiday. same honing progression on all {because it worked } 1K, 4K, 8K, 12K, CrOx, horsehide strop.
These were easy ones as all they needed were a good clean and polish and honing. Plan to do some soon that need a lot more intensive work and new scales, etc.
The Dovo looks less than 25 years old and has the original plastic case.
The Brokett's Special and the Cattaraugus i owned about 10 years ago - maybe a little less. They went through a couple of owners and found their way back to me - small world. They had been re-scaled in hardwoods by someone before me, and they did a good job, so i left them on. i like them. Just needed the clean up, polish and hone.
