    Default Hoshitombo 6000 original restore

Did this for one of the members.
This razor was one ugly SOB, a lot of active rust, scales full of hair and dried soap mixture...
I knew there would be tons of pitting under the rust but I still got surprised how much it was.
The razor cleaned up pretty well, I got to the edge so I had to reset the bevel and finish the restoration.
There are stil lshallow marks left on the blade, but it will shave again, and very well at that.

This one I liked so much that I got myself a near flawless one of those

Nicely done. It cleaned up very well and it's good to see another made to shave again.

All things considered it turned out very well and if it were mine I would be more than happy with it. I can see why it would be an appealing razor. That puts another on the list of to gets.

Your usual nice work Stefan. You brought that straight a long, long ways to get it very presentable again.

Whew, glad it was you. I think I'd have had one of those "why did I get into this" moments. Great job, it looks sweet!! Tempting me also.
