    Default 9/8 Sheffield Giant custom

    Hi everyone!

I finished this razor recently for a fellow member, I hope he will like the outcome!

The basic idea was to make a razor similar to a W&B for barbers use, while not copying it. I really like how it turned out, but it was really hard to take good photos of it, the whole blade is mirror finished, and it just reflected everything every time.

9/8 O1 blade at 60HRC hardness, blond horn scales, black horn wedge, the costumers initials are engraved on the tang:

Beautiful razor and an admirable job. I'd be proud to own one like it!

Looks incredible, and I love the added touch of the initials. I'm sure it will be cherished for a lifetime of amazing shaves.

This is a masterpiece, DEFINITELY going into my porn folder.
Can I ask how long you've been making razors for?

About 9 months if I calculate right. I have been restoring and honing them for about three years, but I only started to make my own last year in august. I enjoy making them a lot, so I hope that I will find the time to make them in the future too
