6/8 green wrapped kamisori
Here is a razor made for a fellow member, I hope the wait was worth for him!
6/8 wide, made from O1 steel at 61HRC, symmetrical grind (western), wrapping is green cord impregnated with CA glue. Somehow it remained very natural to the touch, I will use this technique more in the future. Very nice little shaver, finished on Jnats just for the added japanese feeling
Please let me know how you like her, I am starting to like these japanese razor more and more myself too. I am thinking about making a bunch with different cords, I have found some really nice colors in a shop nearby

Very nice, one of these days I will get a kamisori. Something elemental and primal about the look they have.
From their stillness came their non-action...Doing-nothing was accompanied by the feeling of satisfaction, anxieties and troubles find no place

Glen has it nailed;
it captures that simple elegance and for me that is the draw to them.
Nice work.It is just Whisker Whacking

I'm the lucky owner of this work of art and am anxious to have my first shave with it...it's on its way!
Jenes was great to work with. He offered suggestions as we created the razor's specifications and kept
me up-to-date with its progress. His craftsmanship is evident when you check his website.
Everyone should own a Jenes razor!!!
