Micro-Razor : Barber's Notch : Mokume gane Cobaltium
.
This was really a fun project and although it is smaller it actually wasn't easier to make. One tiny little mistake on the grinder and you can start all over again. You really have to concentrate and make sure all your grinding movements are spot on. Getting the geometry and proportions correct are also important.
The cutting edge is 1.5" and total length of the razor is 3.5". It weights in at 1.2oz. Steel is 01. Scales are Mokume Gane Cobaltium, silver nickel and SS washers.
I added a picture to comparison with a larger razor as it barely fits in the palm of my hand. And yes it passes the HHT with ease and does shave as sharp as his bigger brothers.
This project really made me chuckle everytime I held it in my hands.
Thanks for looking.

Thanked: 170I wonder if a razor that size would solve my east-west neck whisker problems.

Wow, very impressive. It reminds me of a "fixed" version of a shavette-sized blade. It would be the perfect companion to a Simpson Wee Scot!

Max, your going to have to post it on SOTD and tell us how it handles
Without the size comparison, you'd never know how tiny it really is.
And as always, impeccable workmanship.
