Lovely looking razor, great work. Wish I could do stuff like that.

Is the curved spine OK for honing? It looks like it's touching the hone more on the heel and toe than in the middle - won't it develop a frown eventually? (having said iirc you are supposed to hone the back more than the front so I guess that will probably even it out).

I see the issue you describe & yes kamisori are usually less curved at the ridge but actually you hone the front more than the back.

The grind seems more like a microtome than a kamisori i.e. the back looks convex. Is it the angle of the pics ?

Beautiful even grain in the steel.

When it is honed it lays dead flat on the hone. Heel and toe are the way they are because I took a little bit more material in the middle with grinding wheel.

Back may look convex but they are concave. As a matter of fact every picture is a bit distorted when I take them on such a small object.
