    Default Classical 6/8 spanish nose

Another classical near wedge straight, with 6/8 spanish , 115w8 blade, oil hardened, 170°c tempering x2. I wanted to do a quarter hollow grind but don't grind it with the right wheel size....
The differential hardening is not wanted at all but when i discovered it under the belt, i etched it. And choose a wood (beech) that could be interresting with the blade (instead of boxwood).
I 'm really happy of the result

That is simply stunning mate . The blade, the wood and the scale design go together beautifully. Congratulations !!

That is a beautiful blade and scales. I like the shape of both the blade and scales.
