Thanked: 2591Double Duck full custom restore
Full custom restore of a 6/8 Double Duck Satin Edge
The toe was modified, probably broken at some point, but the fix was pretty ugly IMO, so I reshaped it into a French point
The scales are made by request in one of my early designs, in transparent smoke acrylic.
Brass pins and SS washers with orange acrylic wedge complete the restoration.

A very good job, congratulation!
Just one question: why did you opt for a French point instead of the original spike point? Just curious.

Nice job! The point and the scales complement each other nicely
