    Default a five dollar shorty

    I picked up this at a thrift store for $5:



    tip broken off, scales busted at the pivot.

    honed it last night and used it for a little detail work. cut myself

    honed it some more today. should be a bit better.

    nice raising up from the dead ... but isn't that point a bit to pointy, I guess you wouldn't loose too much if you took some off?

    it looks more aggressive than it is. the tip is very slightly rounded. the amount from dragging the tip lightly against the side of the norton 4k a few times. I'll probably have to do it each time I hone it, but that won't be too often.
