    Perfect blend of wood and metal again. Did you make the Damascus ? Every time I look at it for sale the big thing seems to be more layers. I like the 25 layers a lot.

    I love the colours and textures in the blade and scales, a real eye catching piece of work, love the Damascus pattern, wonderful work.

    I made the steel at Mike Blues shop. Mike had a class teaching us how to make pattern welded steel. We (students) each made and came home with a billet of pattern welded steel. This blade was made with a chunk from the billet I bought home.

    It's awesome... and HUGE! I could use that blade to butcher meat, for goshsakes... and the scales -- well, they gave me a woodie ;-) Beautiful work, Charlie.
