Default Wade & Butcher Celebrated Restoration

I've had this one for a while and finally finished up (except honing)
Had a bit of a smile frown so I.m sure I will be a while with the bevel setter.
I had to relieve a bit of the shoulder to ensure better honing.
Then I just disassembled, left the blade face with a vertical "grinding" pattern and polished the rest
The oringal horn scales were a bit warped so I steamed & pressed them then polished and re-assembled with a new ivory paper micarta wedge and the original stacked washers + an additional small brass.
The original lead washer was a bit too thin and allowed contact with the scales
Anyways, I think she turned out ok
    Thanks for looking
    Mike

Excellent job on bringing the beauty back to that horn.
Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.

Looks good all the way around. Very nice work on the scales. It is truly a pleasure to watch time and again as our membership gives new life to these razors.
