Thread: Perth, any interest in getting a social going?

Frank you've got the wrong idea. Any community interest is good. May be able to convert a few heathens, free honing for the kids. Now there fun for the whole family.

Did you guys end up having the meeting?

It's a shame there aren't any more Perth people on here but I guess it's to be expected due to the size of our little city..

No, we did get as far as talking about it though if someone more.driven and/ or organised wants.to take charge then that would be good

There are few perth people (about 6 that I can think off) but most never come on so it would be hard to organise...

Gents, have just seen this thread, have been wondering how long before someone here in Perth suggested a get together, if a public place might be regarded as to dicey, there might be a pub with a private room? or a barbecue at some ones place, we all bring a plate and salad? somewhere fairly central? just a thought

Well including you 3 of us are east (gidge, swan view, gosnells), 1 is in freo, and that's about the extent of the Perth members who were interested. And there is brighty too, wherever he is. I also know there is someone in kalgoolie, and Karratha and a lady in esperence who wanted to get her hubby set up. Though they are probably a bit far

If you guys can get enough people i would probably be interested, i would be little wary about whipping a cut throat out in public though lol.

Anyway, im in Cannington.. Nice and close to Gosnells.

Me too, we would at least need a room in a pub or something, looks loke you are actually the most central based on interest.

This will only be the case for another few months, im moving all the way to Bertram

But while im still here, If we have enough interest ill talk to my wife but it should be ok to have it at the back of my house, outside... As long as none of you guys are homicidal psychopath's.. Be honest now!

Brighty83 thanks, so long as we can bring our own meat and a plate of salad, and beer ! I work two weeks on two off, so am pretty flexible during the week .
