Thanked: 983We've held meets in the Coffee Club at West End. With a phone call ahead to book a table and letting them know what you plan on doing should let you know if they are open to the idea or not. Try calling the place you want to meet at and see if they are all right with it, is what I'm saying.

Theres a long weekend at the end of the month. If we went to picnic ground could have a Bbq and speed the razor out on a trestle table. Maybe hone a few etc. Got 2 here need hone and 1 more on way. You get some stones yet Ed. Ed

Yeah, I have a naniwa 10k, and some Welsh slates at somewhere less than 8k and 12k, I also have a lapping plate.
I think bongo restores razors as a hobby, so he probably would have a better selection. And he did seem keen to get something happening.
I don't know how razor honing in public, and possibly with kids around would go down, an evening would suit me better too, I work away, so I like to keep the weekend's free when I am home so I can do family stuff.
Where are you living?Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast

So let me get this straight: we're all going to meet at a park bench, and then pull out razors and start honing them? I'd come just for the novelty.
I love the smell of shaving cream in the morning!
