Thanked: 983It doesn't hurt to have a few on hand to swap around. many of soaps and creams I have tried last a bloody long time, so a bit of variety is good to have to try a new scent for a while. All I have currently, is Cella cream and Crabtree and Evenlyn Soap. I ran out of my Wahl 6 months ago, I still have Fauldings cream and Palmolive shave sticks as well, but they are either travel kit or back up, in event of a Zombie apocalypse and I can't get to a store for a while. I'm a bit of a minimalist...Like you I think...There are others who would scoff at my 'variety'.

When I find something I like, I tend to stick with it, and I am quite liking the musgo, but I also have a tube of Palmolive to try, I am thinking an all palmolive uberlather.
I did like the C&E cream I have, and still do esp the scent, but the musgo is a better lather, and if I use it with Palmolive soap, the scent isnt as bad.Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast

Mick, I really like the 75gms Fauldings shave cream, and not just 'cause it's $2.76 at my IGA !!
I actually grated a cake of Cousin's Imperial Leather and mixed in a third of a tube of Fauldings.
What I got was quite enjoyable to shave with

Wow I thought Karratha was a shaving wasteland, but I can buy Palmolive sticks there, most chemists have it, and as Mick said the supies too. I found the cream good too. But in the main I use the stick soap as a base for my suddsy concoctions, it's a really clean smell.
