It doesn't hurt to have a few on hand to swap around. many of soaps and creams I have tried last a bloody long time, so a bit of variety is good to have to try a new scent for a while. All I have currently, is Cella cream and Crabtree and Evenlyn Soap. I ran out of my Wahl 6 months ago, I still have Fauldings cream and Palmolive shave sticks as well, but they are either travel kit or back up, in event of a Zombie apocalypse and I can't get to a store for a while. I'm a bit of a minimalist...Like you I think...There are others who would scoff at my 'variety'.

When I find something I like, I tend to stick with it, and I am quite liking the musgo, but I also have a tube of Palmolive to try, I am thinking an all palmolive uberlather.
I did like the C&E cream I have, and still do esp the scent, but the musgo is a better lather, and if I use it with Palmolive soap, the scent isnt as bad.

Mick, I really like the 75gms Fauldings shave cream, and not just 'cause it's $2.76 at my IGA !!
I actually grated a cake of Cousin's Imperial Leather and mixed in a third of a tube of Fauldings.
What I got was quite enjoyable to shave with

Wow some home chemistry, when I finally run out of palmolive soap (bloody ages away), I may well try some stuff like this.

Ed, I've never tried Palmolive but would be interested to hear your views.
Never seen it in my supermarket, do you buy it at a chemists ?
Does it come in stick-form or....?

Tube and stick, either Coles or Woolworths stock it. One store or the other, but not both.

Wow I thought Karratha was a shaving wasteland, but I can buy Palmolive sticks there, most chemists have it, and as Mick said the supies too. I found the cream good too. But in the main I use the stick soap as a base for my suddsy concoctions, it's a really clean smell.
