Default Thanks for your advice Oz

Hey gents, I have been shaving with straights since June and am loving the SRP platform. I have to say a big thanks to OZ for all his help and advice on my honing technique. The razor he lent me was a pleasure to shave with and I am looking forward to using my Otto he has honed. It is nice to know that someone with the experience that he has makes himself freely available to give advice to the rest of us. This, in my opinion is the spirit of SRP as well as the signature of a true gentlemen. Thanks Oz appreciate your help.
A good lather is half the shave.

I am going to have to jump on this bandwagon too, after getting a less than healthy razor from eBay, I sought his help, and when it was decided that I would be better off with a different razor he found me a nice one at his place, honed it and.sold it to me for a very reasonable price.
I did eventually persuade him to hone up the eBay razor, against his better judgement he even offered a discount on the cost which I didn't take up. I ended up giving that razor to Frankenstein as a gift.
Anyway I digress oz is a great guy, who freely gives advice.

Well it could...Lets say the person you're being nice to is bigger than you and they mistake your 'nice' for a 'hi sweet cheeks', and they're not inclined to feel good about that and so decide to make you not feel good about baseball bats hitting you on the head. I think being nice in that case would probably hurt...

Had a feeling it would turn into one of "those" threads being the AUS section, but cudos where it is due. And I know he doesn't search for it.
