Why do you think I bought two tubes? Mainstay in my uber lather and a little goes a long way.

Well I had 2 bottles of witchhazel, and 2 alum blocks that I recently gave away, I found.2 bottles of Nivea balm in my cupboard, which I havent used for ages, I have added some of the balm to my cauldron over the last few days to use it up, I think it makes the lather slicker, but I won't buy more, and I still gave myself a good nick on the neck today

Thanked: 104Totally agree about the baby oil mix for pre shave. Two reasons, My sister gave me some Clarins pre shave oil in a shave kit. This oil was so basic, a little fragrance. But works and thats it but over $40....! 60 ml...2nd, If you have iron whiskers, I mean they'd cut you a new bevel on your striaght....dead set tough, I've begun using it after the hot towel, rubbed in really well, then use your fav cream. It saves your blade by making your whiskers softer, and makes the feel of the shave smoother. I was just a 'soap bloke' until I stopped using DE's and began using straights. Try it fellas it really is a good thing, and as pointed out the super expensive brand is identical to bloody baby oil, just unscrew the lid of the dear one and refill it. I defy anyone to pick the expensive one.
