Kevin, these guys have a range of Pinaud Clubman including a Bay Rum.
Not a big range, but we Aussies must be thankful that someone is selling it here (Melbourne)

I found a bottle of the Wahl Bay Rum in a local barber shop a couple of years back.
I quite like it and so does the missus.
'tis hard to beat the Clubman though.

Just found this on ebay....He's based in Sydney and sells The Col Conk Bay Rum, Lime, Amber and Almond after shaves.
Also sells Blue Beard's revenge, Proraso, TOBS, Parker shave creams, aftershaves, post shave balms, shave soaps, Brushes, stands etc, worth a look !!
Will add this to the Aussie shaving supplies post.

Both Bay Rums I ordered arrived.

The first to arrive was the Col.Conk Bay Rum Aftershave. It came in a strange shaped bottle and looked very red. Now remember I have no experience of what Bay Rum is supposed to smell like. I finished my shave and applied the splash and wow what a great smell. It a tough one to describe, it goes on quite strong but settles to a lovely but long lasting warm spicy smell. My wife really approved.

I have to say I really like Col.Conks Bay Rum.

The next to arrive was the Pinaud Clubman. It came in a large cheap plastic bottle, but its very good value and holds a whopping 355mls. The Pinaud Clubman Virgin Island Bay Rum was very different, a real hit of cloves more than anything on application but again it settles to a warm spicy aroma which is very pleasant. Its not as long lasting as the Col.Conk but it hangs around long enough to keep a smile on my face.

I have to say I like both of these Bay Rums for different reasons. They are different but I can understand why they both are called bay rum. I would struggle to say which one I like more. If I had to make a decision I would say the the Col. Conk was more for evening wear as its heavier in smell and the Pinaud is much more cooling and lighter so a good choice for day wear.

    Im going to enjoy both

This is good to know Kevin !! I must get some Clubman soon....
As far as I know, the Col. Conk bottles are based on the antique "Stetson Brand" aftershave bottles. I like 'em.

That makes sense now. They really are interesting bottles. Sure stands out amongst the crowd of other splashes in the bathroom.
