    Default Traditional Barbershop

I guess we'll never see anything like this again, one man with clippers, one with mug and brush, and one with straight razor.
The quality of this pic is such that you could enlarge it quite a bit, print out and hang it in your man-cave

Great photo, makes one yearn for the finer days when men were men.

Aye, the days when men were made of steel and boats of wood, when sex was dirty and the air was clean.

There's a barbershop in a Dutch railway museum that looks pretty authentic. Only the pretty authentic barber uses a shavette, unless you bring your own razor. (Some pics: https://www.google.nl/search?q=barbier+spoorwegmuseum).

Thanks for posting that cool old pic. It isn't quite as nostalgic as that grand old Barber shop but here's a glimpse of mine

Thanks for posting. Your shop looks amazingly like the one I went to as a kid. I wish I had appreciated it more as a kid and as a teen actually had a shave with a real straight razor.

Great picture of a yesteryear barber shop. Notice also all the strops hanging. One is even pasted.
What a curse be a dull razor; what a prideful comfort a sharp one
