Thanked: 203Sweet. Funny how old things affect what we do. First time i ever saw a straight razor used was watching that movie 7 Brides for 7 Brothers. Knew then that was what i wanted to do - shave with a straight.... not sing... That was a little more civilised than imitating Gary Cooper shaving with a hunting knife and no soap.... rougher than it looks in the movies...

Great pics Bongo
The only time I have been offered a shave after a haircut was on a bustling street side in Phnom Penh. I glanced at the rusty old razor via the mirror which was nailed to a tree and hastily decided it was not the time or the place or the level of risk I was comfortable with. I also turned down having my ears cleaned out with a miniature teaspoon. It was only $2 though!
