There were tables aplenty. Covered (mostly) in lovingly crafted blades of almost every description.
I'm going to need a bigger bathroom

Thanked: 203Cerakote.
I actually had toyed with that idea ( not the pastel colours though!! ) last year. Two things stopped me. One, I did not have a bead blast set up. You need that for surface prep as it will not stick to polished finishes. Lots of other reasons for me to have bead blasting, but lots of other things the funds were needed for first.
second, you need to bake the finish to get the most out of it, and I reckon simple carbon steels would have their temper adversley affected by that.
all that said, this feller might have found ways around that. They were popular with some. Not sure I shuld mentionprices here, so pm e if curious. I have no affiliation or profit from this.Respectfully,
Adam.

Yeah , no prices here Adam. PM is always the way to go.
I googled the 'bake' temp & it's not much higher than boiling water so maybe temper should be largely unaffected ???Last edited by onimaru55; 08-30-2014 at 01:56 AM.

Thanked: 203Cool. I know there are a few brands like Cerakote. Must have misremembered but thought the one I lasted looked at neede 200C for a half hourvand that I thought might be an issue. All academic really as I like polished steel better and all I need for that is wet dry paper.
Respectfully,
Adam.
